First Friday Lavender Lunch
12-1 pm, at the Faculty Club’s Great Hall.
Since September 2006, this quick-and-easy cafeteria lunch gathering is popular with staff and faculty throughout the campus. Join with long-time colleagues and make new friends—typically each time, two-thirds are ‘repeaters’ and one-third are ‘newcomers.’ Congregate around the long tables in an historic setting!

Second Tuesday Noontime Workshop
12-1 pm, usually at the Gender Equity Resource Center, 202 Cesar Chavez Student Center.
Since January 2008, presentations offer information and tools for personal welfare and professional development. Past and future topics include: financial and estate planning for LGBT individuals and couples; tax issues for registered domestic partners; transgender issues in higher education; pros and cons of domestic partnership and marriage equality; parenting experiences; mentorship opportunities for career growth; and more.

Third Thursday Happy Hour
5:15-7 pm, just off-campus at Anna’s Jazz Island, 2120 Allston Way (Gaia Building, between Oxford & Shattuck).
Since August 2007, faculty and staff meet to relax and converse in a mellow commercial setting, just off-campus, that is little occupied in the early evening—except for us!

Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on the LGBT Community at Cal (CAC-LGBT)
12-1:30 pm; dates and locations vary each semester.
