Sustaining Our Impact in 2008-09
On June 18, a group of LavenderCal enthusiasts reviewed the past year's accomplishments and brainstormed about continuing activities and new initiatives.
A follow-up meeting to coordinate plans and organize a structure for the coming year will combine with our regular monthly "Third Thursday Happy Hour": July 17, 2008, 5:15-7:00 pm, at a different location: the Faculty Club. The after-work-hours time was chosen to encourage extended discussion and relaxed networking.

Recollecting Our History: Works in Progress
Know something of Cal's LGBTQ history of the last 30 years? Know an emeriti faculty member, a retired staff member, or a long-time current employee who may have tales to tell? Want to honor the memory of a community member who has passed away during our lifetimes?
Help collect undocumented chapters of UCB community activism over the last decades, and remember our pioneering and sustaining community members. For inspiration, one vignette is offered here. To offer more stories, please email lavmail@lists.berkeley.edu.
